Partnership agreement with IAEM Europe

The international academic university network of Universidad Azteca with partners in Austria, Mexico and Nicaragua has signed a Memorandum of Recognition (MoR) with IAEM, ?the International Association of Emergency Managers.

IAEM Europa President Luc Rombout, and Universidad Azteca representative Prof. Gerhard Berchtold signed the MoR.
It is a first step in a developing co-operation and an addition to the ever expanding global network of academic and institutional partners.?

The IAEM is a non-profit educational organisation dedicated to promoting the goals of saving lives and protecting property during emergencies and disasters.
The Association brings together emergency managers and disaster response professionals from all levels of government, as well as the military, the private sector and volunteer organizations around the world.

The mission of IAEM is to serve its members by providing information, networking and professional opportunities, and to advance the emergency management profession.
